The Mabira Table Lamp explores volume, texture, and shadow through a layered hand-forming composite process that gives each piece its own surface depth and tonal character.

Designed to soften light rather than project it, the pendant creates a quiet, atmospheric glow that enhances space without visual noise.

Formed from a composite of reclaimed paper fibres, natural binders, and solar-assisted curing, the collection reflects a commitment to low-impact production without compromising form or finish. Each piece develops subtle variation as it cures and dries, resulting in an inherently individual finish.

MATERIALS

Composition: Handcrafted paper mache base with a natural linen shade. This lamp is recommended for indoor use only. 

Please note that the Ball Bearing caps for this lamp may arrive in either an all-black or black and bronze finish. Once assembled with the shade, this component is discreetly hidden from view, preserving the overall elegance of your lamp.

To clean, simply dust the surface with a dry cloth to maintain the texture and finish. The Mabira Lamp offers a unique, handmade quality that makes each piece truly one of a kind.

Crafted from a hand-formed small batches of papier mâché composite with an antique mud finish, natural variations in surface texture and form are integral to the design and should be expected.

No two pendants are identical. Variations in surface, tone, and form are intentional outcomes of the process and central to the design.

Natural fibres are sensitive to sunlight, moisture, and humidity, which can cause fading, brittleness, or mould. Keep items indoors or in covered spaces, and avoid prolonged outdoor exposure.

Clean gently with a soft brush or cloth, and always dry thoroughly after wiping.

Avoid harsh cleaners, soaking, or dragging, which can damage the weave.
