Magnesium oxide is a durable, eco-friendly material celebrated for its strength and resilience. At KULALA Living, we incorporate this versatile material into our furniture designs, appreciating its ability to deliver a contemporary aesthetic that’s both stylish and practical.

Derived from magnesium, an abundant natural mineral, magnesium oxide is created through a high-temperature process that results in a stable and enduring compound. In these designs, it beautifully mimic the warmth of natural timber, with the added benefits of being lighter and easier to move.

This non-toxic material is naturally resistant to mould and mildew and is crafted to withstand Australia’s diverse climates, making it a perfect choice for both indoor and outdoor spaces.

Synthetic materials are resilient but may fade, crack, or weaken under harsh weather, sun, or moisture. Keep in shaded or sheltered areas, and use covers when not in use.

Clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, then dry thoroughly.

Avoid harsh cleaners, abrasives, dragging, or storing while damp to prevent mould and damage.
