The Elm Reclaimed Timber Console Table brings warmth, texture and character to entryways, living spaces and hallways. With its clean lines and distinctive A-frame silhouette, it creates a refined focal point while offering a practical surface for styling artwork, lighting and decorative objects.

Crafted from reclaimed vintage elm timber in a soft bleached finish, each piece tells its own story through natural markings, tonal variation and traces of its previous life. Available in two sizes, Elm is designed to complement both contemporary and relaxed interiors with its timeless, understated appeal.

NATURAL CHARACTERISTICS

Each piece is unique and will feature individual grain patterns, tonal variation, markings and remnants of past finishes. These characteristics are celebrated as part of the history and beauty of reclaimed timber.

Weather events such as high humidity and dampness, especially after periods of high rainfall, commonly cause mildew and mould to grow on the surface of wood.

While this piece was designed to have a raw, sanded wood finish, coating wood pieces with a wood sealer/water repellent product, such as varnish or lacquer, can help to make mould easier to remove from the surface or keep it from growing.

A coated product will cause moisture to bead up and run off the surface instead of penetrating and allowing mould spores and mildew to grow. Please note that adding a coating to the product will change the look and feel of the wood.

If you prefer to retain the original raw look and mould does appear, using a mould remover as soon as possible after the mould develops is advised to clean and maintain your product.

Should the mould have sunken roots into the wood, light sanding with fine sandpaper may become necessary to restore your piece.

Timber naturally reacts to sunlight, moisture, and humidity, which may cause fading, warping, or cracks. Keep in stable, ventilated spaces and use coasters or pads to protect from spills and heat.

Clean with a soft cloth and mild soap, drying thoroughly to prevent water absorption.

Avoid harsh cleaners, soaking, dragging furniture, and reapply oil, wax, or sealant periodically to maintain protection.
